An Error When Reading A Certain Line

Hi,
I opened an HTML file today, and it contains a line like this:
			/* /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ CLIENT-SPECIFIC STYLES /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ */
Reading this line produces the below error in the echo area:
Invalid use of ‘\’ in replacement text
Since Emacspeak doesn’t read this line, I’m guessing this causes something to go wrong inside Emacspeak itself.
Is it possible to fix this?
