Hello all, Thank you for your fast responses! So what happened is that the brew upgrade upgraded python and somehow the python packages required for emacspeak where not there. When I was trying to fix this before knowing that was the problem I uninstalled emacs and emacspeak and tried to install emacspeak with out having a proper emacs installed. But I actually had an emacs version in my system that I had downloaded manually from the web-sight and this is why I was confused. Now everything works but with this version of emacs that I downloaded from the web-page and not from the one downloaded with homebrew. The one from homebrew is required though so that emacspeak can be installed. Thank you again! Cheers, Argiris
