Punctuation problem?

I don't know if anybody else has noticed this, but if I have punctuation
set to all, and then use the C-e t command to get the current time, the
punctuation mode is reset to "some".  Is there an easy way to correct
this(speaking as somebody who is not a lisp programmer).
