Unfortunately, not always it is so simple. For example, it does not
work for me (Knoppix-based Debian unstable).
I'm running Debian testing.
Do you use OSS or ALSA?
Probably OSS. I have tried installing ALSA from alsa-driver-0.5.10b
sources and failed. (I do not understand sound.)
To have sound in Oralux I have to boot it with "alsa" cheatcode.
That is clearly a bug. What is your "alsa" cheatcode?
