thin client? >> sound

how do i get the sound to play on a thin client?

I now have emacspeak running on an ipaq, via ssh and ethernet connection.
the text and toolbars are on the ipaq, but the sound comes from the laptop.
Is there a command to send the sound to the ipaq?
