[Emacspeak] Re: auditory icon themes not working on m1 mac

On a 2017 Mac I got it to work with:
(setq emacspeak-auditory-icon-function 'emacspeak-queue-auditory-icon)

Emacs now sounds completely ridiculous, this is great but also annoying lol.

In my case, the solution was as simple as installing alsa-utils, but I'm not at all familiar with macOS, so I don't know if that will help you at all.
