[Emacspeak] Re: Emacspeak on an arm based mac

Hello,
I am using home brew to try and install it. Here is the error I get:
Error: mplayer: no bottle available!
You can try to install from source with:
  brew install --build-from-source mplayer
Please note building from source is unsupported. You will encounter build
failures with some formulae. If you experience any issues please create pull
requests instead of asking for help on Homebrew's GitHub, Twitter or any other
official channels.

Hi Greg,
Ah, that makes sense. What do you mean by mplayer not installing? Is this a brew issue, where you can create an issue in the homebrew github? Is this an mplayer issue that you can raise in the mplayer issue tracker at https://trac.mplayerhq.hu/?
Thanks,
Parham

Hello,
The issue I am seeing right now is that mplayer will not install. I can sort of use emacs with out emacspeak using voiceover but it is not very efficient.

Hi,
I don't have an M1 Mac, but maybe we can help if you explain what's not working?
Thanks,

Hello all,
Recently I moved to one of the new 14 inch macbook pros with the M1 chip. Does anyone know if it is possible to get emacspeak working on it? Emacs macport installed just fine but I cannot seem to get emacspeak to work.

Thanks,
Greg Wocher
