Suggestion: Making org-table Advice Customizable?

Hi,
Right now, the advice for speaking text when moving in org tables is hard-coded to speak the current element. I was thinking that if the function to call was stored in a variable (maybe a buffer-local variable?) the user could change it to whatever made sense for the table easily, without needing to override the advice or to set keybindings. This would reduce keystrokes and make table filling a lot faster.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Parham
