First, the fixes sent out yesterday seem to have addressed the rate issue for me. Still early days, but things seem OK so far. However, one issue I still have is that Emacspeak is using the wrong voice. I have reset the voices in the VoiceOver utility so that the default voice is Lee and all other voice options are set to the default. However, it sounds like the system is either still using Karen VoiceOver itself is using Lee. So I have a different voice in Emacspeak from what is being used by VoiceOver. Not a big issue, but a little frustrating as I really dislike Karen's voice! I will try to do some debugging over the weekend.
