moving to TTSynth in debian or ubuntu

With respect to:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:/opt/IBM/ibmtts/lib

This is better done by telling ldconfig about the new directory
-- and should be added to the dpkg setup files for ttsynth.

Essentially the post-install step should be adding the
/opt/... directory to /etc/ld.so.conf and running ldconfig.
