RE: Playing music and a tailpiece

Essentially EMMS is a wrapper around a media player. However, it has some
nice features for managing your media, playlists, audio streams etc, so its
a bit more than just a wrapper. EMMS stands for emacs multi-media system,
so really it tries to be a cmplete solution for managing and accessing
multimedia content. 

Of course, emacspeak has much the same functionality, but as I don't always
just use emacspeak, I like to have my functionality packaged so that I'm
not too dependent on just one interface solution.
