2008-09-05 New CS Account - Required Lecture & Lab
If you do not already have an account on the Computer Science Department lab machines and you will need one for your class this semester then you must attend one of the New Account Lecture and Lab sessions. 1) CS101 does not have this requirement. If you are enrolled in CS102 or CS125 your class instructor should send me your information. If you are enrolled in a 200 or 300 level CS class and don’t have a current CS account, please remind your instructor to send me your information so I can get your account set up. I need note from a CS instructor to add your account.
Currently two sessions are planned, both are on Friday, September 5th. You only need to attend one session.
The first session begins at 1:30pm, the second session begins at 3:10pm. If you are not in CS102 or CS125 then I must know both that you are attending and which session you are attending by the end of the day Thursday Sept. 4th or you will not be able to attend the Friday sessions. It is only after you attend a session that you will have access to your account.
If you cannot make ether of these sessions, let me know. I will be scheduling an additional session near the end of the second week of classes. But you will not be able to use your account until after the session.
